THE GARDEN
There are many large trees including a paperbark, a coral tree, banksia and lots of pandanus. Cocos palms are dotted throughout.
The stone work in the bath house and the paths through the garden were designed by Matt Crosbie of Aztec Gardens Landscaping using pink sandstone from a local quarry.
The garden is filled with different varieties of heliconia and ginger as well as many species of frangipani. Lemon grass, rosemary, marjoram, a kaffir lime tree, pawpaws and a curry tree all survive well. In its basic state it's a no care garden which requires no watering. I keep a veggie garden which does require some watering. I also have a mulch bin and a worm farm. Branches that drop from the trees are piled into the fire pit for later use.
